Rage Asymmetric

First glance at this board always results in a second glance. And for good reason: it’s drastically asymmetric. The theory is simple. No matter how good your backhand is, it’s never the same as your fronthand.

Because of the way our knees and ankles bend, and the position this puts our body, we generally need a straighter toeside outline, with the wide point slightly closer to the center of the board. Again, due to body physics, the inability of our legs to flex as well on the heelside, and the tendency to turn closer to the back of the board, we want more curve to the outline, and the wider point further back.

This is what each side needs. Thus, all boards are a compromise between what you want for your heelside turn, and what you need for toeside drive. But it’ll always be a compromise.

Not with the Rage. There is no compromise here. You get the ideal frontside shape, and the ideal backside shape, in the same board. And the transition to this board is so simple - just get on and go. No adjustment or weirdness. You won’t even notice it’s asymmetric. What you will notice is how much fun this board is on everything from beach breaks to point breaks.

The Rage bottom and rail shape is very similar to the Pocket Rocket, and you can expect similar performance from it.
