Mystery

The Mystery can best be described as the middle ground between the Pocket Rocket and the Goto Fish. Or maybe its the perfect synthesis of the Shortie and the Blast. It’s so hard to tell... but what we do know is that everyone who tries this board, loves it. It’s as hard to put your finger on just why as it is to describe where it fits in the quiver.

You could take a standard shortboard thats already shaped, and then cut this board out of that blank, essentially throwing away everything thats not needed. Thats how we started thinking about creating a board that is free of unnecessary foam.

Part of what makes this board so magic is the synergy between the bottom concave and the volume distribution down the rail as it follows the outline, that caries its width well into the tail. This abrupt drop into the concave from the rail creates instant lift so the board is up and planing fast, riding effortlessly on the width of the tail in even the smallest surf, without having to make the overall width of the board excessive like a fish. The rails volume is reduced not from traditional S rails on the deck, but from the bottom concave itself, so it can cut and hold on even the fastest waves, but still have clean deck lines.

Like we said, its hard to put your finger on just what makes this board work so well, but it does!
