LONGBOARDS
Longboarding is where surfing started. Until the 1970’s, this WAS surfing. But todays longboards are very different from the boards your father rode in the 50’s and 60’s. Better understanding of rails shapes, bottom concave, and fin placements mean that todays longboards are performance machines.
Saying you’re a “longboarder” today is like saying you’re a “shortboarder”: without additional information, meaningless, because there are so many styles and ways to ride a longboard.
We have broken it down into three basic styles. The classic Mini Malibu, undoubtably the most popular style of board in the world, the “performance” longboard for surfing everything from soupy mush to steep, fast big waves, and the “nose rider”, which says it all. Whatever your style of longboarding, from beginner to expert, we have one for you.
