Burger Bob

Not everyone gets to surf every day. In fact, many of us don’t get to surf as much as we’d like, but we certainly know how to surf. But, 3.2 kids, a mortgage, 2 cats and a full time job later means that our time on the water is limited, and truth be told, those burgers are starting to show.

But you sure do know how to surf. There is no question of that. So what you’re looking for is a little extra floatation, and paddle on speed to compensate for those rusty muscles. The width is carried through the nose, and a generous helping of volume is stacked into the center of the board to accomplish just this.

Once on the wave, it’s all about performance. The deck crown drops off radically into the rails so the board will slice and dice with the best of them. A deep single concave runs into a double barreled double concave just behind the front foot and ends in a slight release V in the tail.

This makes the board fast on the wave, and it drives itself through sections effortlessly. No matter how hard you want to push the board, it’ll let you do it, and thats what make it so magic.
