For many riders, selecting one board for the vast variety of conditions we face is a constant worry.

The Blast is designed to address this issue as best possible. While no one-board can ever replace a quiver, the Blast comes as close as is possible to meeting your needs, no matter what the conditions.

The Blast follows the current trend in “easy to surf” shortboards that boast extra width in the center, carried further towards the ends, with low entry rocker, but still a performance thinking release rocker behind the fin cluster.

The generous single concave is carried all the way through the release rocker in the tail so you have a board that jumps up and goes. Fast onto a plane so you’re on and up early, the Blast is very skatey feeling on the wave so its just fun to ride.

Combine this with the generous thickness under the chest, that cuts cleanly into low volume S rails, and you have a board that swims effortlessly onto anything from mushy waves to the fastest swells, while never feeling like you should be on something closer to a traditional “shortboard”.

5 fin plugs means this can be ridden as a tri-fin for drive and predictability, or a quad-fin for a looser radical turning board. And if its too skatey feeling, drop in a mini trailer and ride it as a Quad +1.
